Travelecious

Travel is the change in location of people on a trip through the means of transport from one location to another. Travel may be local, regional, national or international. The word originates from the Middle English word travailen ("to toil"), which comes from the Anglo-French word travailler ("travail"). A person who travels is called a traveler (US) or traveller (UK).

That’s some Wikipedia for you.

Let me start by saying that this blog is dedicated to travels, my travels. I am not promising much since technically I have travelled to very few places. However I hope I will not disappoint you in the posts to follow.

Someone, recently made me think about what am I passionate about? I still do not have an answer to that, but one thing that makes me feel worth living, is travelling. I feel content. I feel free. I feel alive. I am at ease with myself. I find my escape from the world, in the world itself. Contradictory, but absolutely true. When I look out of the window of a car, bus, train (outstation or local), I find my solace right in front of me, staring at me hard. That is the time when I forget all my worries, problems, issues, concerns. That is my time, with MY WORLD.

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
and I must follow, if I can,
pursuing it with eager feet,
until it joins some larger way
where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.
